  Extremely racist and prejudice place. The corrections officers, from top ranking to bottom, knowingly invite conflict because most inmates here have short sentences. This has been going on for a long time... The correctional officer diversity is nil, approximately 95% Caucasian. This correctional center has consistently broken laws without due recourse with regards to prison conditions, inmate care and clerical catastrophes. There's a story of garbage bags full of inmate grievances that were simply thrown out and just on the side of the road at that, which is littering, lol! If visiting, know your rights, don't get "handled" by these miserable, uneducated, white folk corrections officers, and be firm and understanding with your requests. If you're on the inside, make copies of all your paperwork, these officers like to play hide and seek with your property. Enjoy the breathtaking views of flat earth here in the Clandalia, uh umm...Vandalia area. Have fun!
